How to Use the Squarespace Chart Block

Everyone knows the best way to show off data and statistics is in the form of a nifty chart. But are you taking advantage of the incredibly useful Squarespace Chart Block tool to do just that?

The Squarespace Chart Block tool enables you to show off your data in a super effective and beautiful way. Available in line, bar, and pie graph options, these charts are fully responsive, so they will always scale to size on any device. Featuring customizable color palettes, the Squarespace Chart Block allows you to present information in an easy-to-read graphic format. Simply copy and paste from a .csv file or add the data one cell at a time in the editor.  And, in the event that these standard options don’t suit your needs, we can generally offer a customized solution for your special circumstance.

Here’s how it works:

Begin by adding a Chart Block to your content area. You can pre-select the type of chart you wish to add to the page or content area. In addition, you can toggle between the 3 choices once the block has been added.

Once you have chosen a chart style, you can explore and tweak the various style settings associated with each.

When you have your Chart Block looking just how you'd hoped, you can reposition the location of that block in your content area, just as you can with all Squarespace blocks.
