Flagler Beach, FL – A new collaborative effort has been announced in Flagler County, Florida to draw ‘creatives’ from behind their computer screens, out to meet and network with each other.
Anyone having an artistic or creative skill such as writing, painting, design, or public relations, marketing and communications, would be considered a ‘creative’.
“Just because we live in a beach town, work from our homes, or wear flip flops to client meetings, doesn’t mean we don’t do high quality work”, said Josh Neimark, local resident and business owner. “Handcrafted in our Flip Flops was launched to bring creatives together to collaborate, share, and grow,” he added.
Neimark, founder of fix8 media is stirring things up with an innovative concept for the county. The event is set to launch publicly with an open house and customer appreciation event on June 18th at the Oceanside Center, located at 2561 Moody Blvd in Flagler Beach. Neimark, along with other local businesses will be unveiling the details surrounding their new effort, Handcrafted In Our Flip Flops.
Prior to moving to Flagler County in 2010, Neimark spent eight years building an EMMY Award-winning production and New Media company in Chicago and Indianapolis which had taken its roots in a basement home office. The concept for Handcrafted In Our Flip Flops was born out of a frustration Neimark found after setting up his creative media shop in Flagler Beach. A big supporter of keeping business local, he was looking for other creative services that could compliment and enhance his client’s businesses, and had little luck. Neimark serves as a Board Member of the Flagler Beach Chamber of Commerce, as well as on the board of the Flagler County Chamber Technology Committee.
Other local businesses are already on board include Oceanside Remax, The BeachHouse Beanery, Athletic Guide Publishing and Marketing 2 Go, each of which will be offering something special for the collaborative group.
