Squarespace Design Firm Fix8 Media Launches Nonprofit Website Helping Young Women in Sierra Leone
New Squarespace Website Furthers Reach of U.S.-based Nonprofit Doing Good in Africa
Working with nonprofits is a special passion for the Squarespace designers here at Fix8 Media. We are touched by their stories and their selfless urge to help those in need. Collaborating with the Angels to Angels team to build a Squarespace site that furthers its mission to help young women in Sierra Leone, Africa, get an education beyond the primary level was extremely fulfilling for our team.
Selecting the Squarespace Mojave template, Angels to Angels wanted a website that clearly conveyed the direct impact its work has on girls’ lives in Sierra Leone. With funding from generous sponsors, Angels to Angels provides the means and resources for poverty-stricken young women to get the schooling that is so often out of reach. Breaking the cycle of poverty through education gives these young women hope that they can achieve their goals and improve their lives.
The organization’s new Squarespace website tells its story in a powerful way, featuring image galleries, video blocks, and FAQs. By integrating with Funraise.io, a donation functionality that gives donors a unique giving experience, Fix8 Media provided the organization with a moving Squarespace website that includes a superior fundraising tool. The Funraise integration captures the donor’s data, enabling the nonprofit to then build a relationship with that donor. (Learn more about Fix8’s partnership with Funraise.io.)
Angels to Angels Sierra Leone now has the tools in place to help even more deserving young women in Africa get the education they deserve by sharing its story and raising the all important funds that make a difference.
