Squarespace Commerce Websites Perfect for Artists to Sell Their Work

The colors, natural beauty, and uniqueness of each captured moment stand out in photographer Howie Guja’s work. And Fix8 Media’s expert Squarespace designers and developers couldn’t wait to build an online store in Squarespace for Howie to share his work with the world!

Built in the Squarespace Mojave template, the new Squarespace photography website is minimalist—enabling the captivating photographs to take center stage. The new Squarespace commerce site opens with an incredibly cool banner image on the home page, followed by an excerpt from the artist’s bio with a prompt to read more. The page scrolls into an Instagram feed and is anchored by a grid of beautiful images leading into the site. A Squarespace form on the contact page prompts visitors with questions to contact the artist directly.

The Fix8 Media Squarespace design and development team set up Howie’s store in such a way that each photograph is able to be displayed in the variety of frame and matte options that are available. Following a training in the Squarespace tools, the photographer is able to upload new photos on his own as they become available—taking advantage of the user-friendliness of the Squarespace toolset.
