New California Business Launches Squarespace Site That Caters to Thrill Seekers


It’s not always convenient to travel with your bike or your surfboard—but that shouldn’t stop you from enjoying the outdoor activities you love! The Hatch Adventure workshop was, well, “hatched,” just for this purpose! In addition to renting bikes and boards by the hour or day, this cool new Encinitas shop sells and services bicycles of all varieties. Owned and operated by a bike enthusiast who has much experience in the field, The Hatch needed a robust Squarespace website to handle rental requests and display its merchandise in a user-friendly and intuitive manner.


Fix8 Media’s Squarespace designers crafted the website in the Squarespace Mojave template, utilizing the full-width banner areas to showcase scenes from the California coastline near where The Hatch is based. Visitors can reserve a bicycle, surfboard, or paddle board online, as well as learn more about the services and sales offered at the shop. A blog to share the many adventures of The Hatch and its clients round out the new Squarespace site—making it a resource for outdoor enthusiasts in the Encinitas area looking for their next adventure.
