What’s in Store for 2020 at Fix8 Media Website Design and Development Agency

Fix8 Media in Boulder County, Colorado, has come a long way since it started as a one-man operation more than a decade ago. Led by Owner and Creative Director Josh Neimark, the boutique web design and development agency today is a full-service shop, offering website design and development, SEO strategy, graphic design, and marketing services.

In the Q&A below, Neimark discusses what’s in store for the web design firm in 2020.

Going forward, what do you think will set Fix8 Media apart from other website design agencies?

We’ve got a lot of growth ahead of us in 2020, with some new offerings and services that I think our clients will find really exciting. But the big differentiator that sets Fix8 Media apart from our peers in the web design field is really unchanged: We are an experienced team of industry leaders who listen to our clients and customize solutions to fit their needs—be that choice of website design platform, logo and branding, the right SEO strategy, and so on.

I personally have been in this business for 22 years. For the first 10, I helped to build a 30-person digital agency that grossed $6 million dollars in my last year. Following, I founded Fix8 Media to provide website solutions based around my expertise in design, development, and strategic marketing. From 2007 to 2018, Fix8 Media was exclusively focused on building websites in the Squarespace platform. This fully hosted platform fit the bill for the majority of our clients, avoiding the nightmares of hosting their own sites, as in Wordpress. The beautiful templates, intuitive interface, and continuous updates to the Squarespace platform are just some of the many benefits it offers to us and our clients.

We’ve built more than 750 Squarespace websites here at Fix8 Media, not to mention countless hours of project-based work we’ve done to update and maintain Squarespace websites.

So what’s in store for the coming year?

Going forward in 2020, we are offering additional options for clients to consider for their website platform and hosting. While we have always been and will continue to be Squarespace evangelists, we now have an alternative for our clients for whom Squarespace isn’t an ideal solution. With our new website design and development platform, clients receive a number of key benefits, including:

How did you make the decision to add another website platform to Fix8 Media’s mix?

Having spent over 20 years building websites for a wide range of clients, we spent more than a year vetting different platforms. After testing a number of different platforms, we landed on one that met and even exceeded our stringent requirements. In addition to standard features such as easy content management, reliable hosting and security, access to statistics and data, and SSL, the new platform offers a host of marketing benefits that our clients will certainly want to take advantage of.

We’re particularly excited about the new Squarespace email campaign tool introduced in 2019, which enables clients to forego third-party providers and market directly from their Squarespace websites.
