Wax Happening Candle Co. is a socially and environmentally conscious company dedicated to helping women in need around the world. Founder Meg Ulrich’s dream is to bring jobs to women who most won’t hire—and she’s hoping to do that one candle at a time!

Instead of starting an Etsy shop for her beautiful handcrafted candles or building a Shopify store, Ulrich approached Fix8 Media’s Squarespace designers to create a gorgeous and effective Squarespace website. It not only features a shop to sell her candles, but also plenty of opportunity to share her passion for helping other women. Crafted in the Squarespace Margot template, the new commerce website mirrors the aesthetic of the candles themselves: cozy and minimalist, with a distinct homemade vibe. The Squarespace shop is easily sorted into the various candle categories, enabling the visitor to shop all or view only the Signature, Vintage, or Sisterhood collections.
