Civil rights legal nonprofit website shown on desktop, laptop, tablet and phone
The problem

A Chicago nonprofit civil rights legal organization wanted its site reorganized so visitors could find information easily in a reader-friendly format.

What we built

A redesign with project pages under Our Work, mailing list signups and news feeds on issue pages, Get Involved and Get Help buttons and a secondary navigation menu.

Quick answers

How should a legal aid nonprofit organize its website?
Put help and involvement buttons at the top so both people seeking help and supporters find their path right away. Issue pages with their own news feeds and signups keep each program's updates together.
When did it launch?
July 2017.
