Nonprofit Website Redesign: Children’s Diabetes Foundation on Duda | Fix8 Media

Finally! Full Control Over Blog Design in Duda

At Fix8 Media, we’ve been building high-performing websites on Duda for years. While the platform has always been one of the most agency-friendly solutions on the market, there was one area where we felt a little stuck: blog design.

We’ve been requesting more flexibility, not just for us as designers, but for our clients who rely on their blogs to communicate, convert, and educate. Until now, clients often had to compromise on the look and feel of blog posts. Clean, functional? Yes. But tailored, on-brand, and visually impactful? Not quite.

That all changes with Duda’s new blog features in Editor 2.0—and we couldn’t be more excited.

Use Multiple Blog Post Layouts

Before this update, each blog lived under a single post template. Now, we can assign different layouts to different posts, which is huge. This means we can now tailor the design of each post to match the content type and purpose, just like we do with pages. For example:

  • SEO-rich articles can now use clean, readable formats that encourage scrolling and engagement.

  • Case studies and portfolios can take advantage of image-heavy or visual-first layouts.

  • Company news or updates can stick to minimalist designs that keep the message clear.

We no longer need to juggle multiple blogs just to achieve visual variation. This gives us, and our clients, creative freedom without the workaround.

Improved Pagination Controls

The All Posts widget also got a much-needed upgrade. We can now control how users navigate blog content with options like:

  • A “Show More” button for a smoother UX

  • Numbered pagination with custom controls

  • Or hiding pagination altogether for curated blog experiences

It’s the kind of fine-tuned control that helps us optimize user journeys on every site.

Anchor Links in Blog Posts? Yes, Please.

This one's a small but mighty addition: you can now link directly to specific paragraphs within a blog post using anchors.

From the link picker, just choose:
Anchor → Page → Blog Post
...and you’re off to the races.

Whether it’s for highlighting product mentions, CTAs, or in-depth sections of long-form content, this helps both SEO and usability and it's something we’ve wanted for a while.

These updates might seem small at first glance, but they give us the tools we need to create better content experiences for our clients without compromise.

We want to say thank you to the team at Duda for continuing to listen to your agency partners. You’ve clearly heard the feedback, and it shows.

We can’t wait to roll these features out across our client sites.
