Squarespace Scheduling Now Hipaa-Compliant

1.28.20 HIPAA-Compliance is a big concern among doctors and other medical practitioners who are building or redesigning websites. Which makes the recent news from Squarespace headquarters music to the ears of many in the medical field: Squarespace Scheduling is now designed to comply with the requirements of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) Security Rule.


While other parts of the platform, such as forms, can’t be used as part of a HIPAA-compliant solution, the Scheduler enables users to collect protected health information through appointments in Scheduling. In order to do so, the Squarespace website must be on the Powerhouse Player Scheduling plan.
