Kerry Schroeder:
- The design is professional, clean, and contemporary, allowing and supporting my art to be the center of attention.
- It easily integrates with MailChimp, which I use for outbound marketing.
- I feel great working with a company that is solid and professional. I have enough to focus on with making my art and marketing it. I don’t have the time or the energy to dink around with trying to figure out my website.
Fix8 Media: How have you found the process of updating your Squarespace website with new work and making changes using the Squarespace tools?
Kerry Schroeder: Updating my Squarespace site with new work is very easy to do. This is key for me being an artist. I want to update my site with new work, take down old work, be able to easily update information when paintings have sold, change galleries, etc.
Fix8 Media: How have you been able to use your Squarespace artist website as a marketing tool with galleries or potential collectors?
Kerry Schroeder: The most important thing to a potential gallery or collector is the artist’s work. Having a site that showcases the work and is easy and intuitive to navigate gives them a good user experience. This positively reflects on how the working relationship with me could be. Also, in this highly competitive field, I potentially have about 3 seconds to grab the attention of galleries or potential collectors, so having a site that looks and works professionally, and clearly communicates what I offer, is a big plus for me.
